The vision of President Hon. Dr. Sanjay Patil to transform the campus into a university became a reality through his collaborative efforts with Vice President Hon. Satej Patil, Trustee MLA Hon. Ruturaj Patil, Trustee Hon. Prithviraj Patil, and the entire team at Talsande. Together, they submitted a proposal for the establishment of a state private university. Despite the government's regulation of having only four agricultural universities in the state, the Agricultural Engineering and Technical College at Talsande, with its diverse range of courses, earned the distinction of becoming Maharashtra state's fourth private university in January 2021.
The campus is committed to realizing Dr. Sanjay Patil's vision, which was deeply rooted in providing education for all. Aligned with the college's mission to foster a community of lifelong learners, it seeks to blend traditional education methods with the contemporary needs of today's society, playing a pivotal role in this dynamic educational landscape.
