Jagannath University, located in Bahadurgarh, Haryana, was established as a Private University in May 2013. It was incorporated under Haryana State Legislature Act No. 8 of 2013, approved under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956, and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The University commenced its academic operations from the 2013-14 session on its sprawling 26-acre campus situated at State Highway 22, Bahadurgarh-Jhajjar Road, District Jhajjar, Haryana, in the NCR region.
