Jagan Nath University, Jaipur, was established through the enactment of the Rajasthan State Legislature (Act No. 19 of 2008) on April 16, 2008. It holds recognition under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956, and achieved accreditation from NAAC (2nd Cycle) with an "A" grade in 2022. Furthermore, it is a proud member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Notably, the University has gained distinction in the field of agricultural education, earning accreditation from ICAR for its B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program.
The University offers a diverse range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs encompassing fields such as Engineering & Technology, Architecture, Management, Law, Agriculture Science, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Paramedical Sciences, Education, and Vocational Studies. Additionally, select disciplines provide Ph.D. programs. The University has received approvals from various Statutory Regulatory Authorities (CoA, BCI, NCTE, and PCI) for programs within their respective domains.
Jagan Nath University has developed a comprehensive academic system aligned with the latest guidelines of NEP-2020.
