Lokbharati University for Rural Innovation, Sanosara, proudly holds the distinction of being the nation's inaugural university with an exclusive focus on rural innovation. This distinction was formalized through the granting of Private University Status under the GUJARAT PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2022. Our institution boasts a rich heritage of providing rural higher education, rooted in Gandhian educational principles and Sarvodaya ideals. Prominent figures like Padmashree Nanabhai Bhatt, Padmabhushan Manubhai Pancholi, Shree Natvarlal Buch, Shree Moolshankar Bhatt, and Shree Ratibhai Andhariya, who were both freedom fighters and foundational pillars of Lokbharati, have guided our journey.
