The city of Nadiad, steeped in historical significance for its spiritual, literary, and industrial contributions, is now emerging as a burgeoning educational hub. Recognizing the need for a world-class healthcare university that can seamlessly integrate traditional Indian medicine such as Ayurveda with modern healthcare concepts, Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University – MAM University was established by the Mahagujarat Medical Society Nadiad, in accordance with the Gujarat State Private University Act 2009, on June 1, 2022.
MAM University's overarching goal is to advance the knowledge of the Indian System of Medicine, fostering its development and analysis through education, research, extension services, and effective dissemination. This mission is exemplified by the inclusion of J. S. Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya as its constituent institute, renowned for its illustrious history spanning over 83 years in the field of Ayurveda. The institute offers a comprehensive array of educational programs, including Under Graduate (B.A.M.S), Post Graduate (Ayurved Vachaspati), Ph.D. (Ayurveda Varidhi), Certificate Courses, and Value-Added Courses, all aimed at promoting excellence in the realm of healthcare and traditional Indian medicine.
