In the year 2006, Mohammad Ali Jauhar University was established through an Act of the State Legislature of Uttar Pradesh. Situated approximately 12 kilometers from Rampur Railway Station, the university offers a wide range of courses spanning various fields, including Science, Humanities, Law, Education, Commerce, Engineering & Technology, Paramedical Sciences (including Nursing), Mass Communication, and Agriculture. Additionally, preparations are underway to launch a Medical College known as Jauhar Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS).
