Under the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati, the Shree Monark Education Trust (SMET) was established in the year 2001. SMET serves as the driving force behind the inception and development of Monark University, a testament to the visionary aspirations of its founder Chairman, Shri Mohanbharthi R. Goswami. Shri Goswami, a farmer and philanthropist, harbored a profound vision to propagate world-class academic institutions.
The Trust, under Shri Goswami's leadership, swiftly propelled various educational institutions, and these former establishments have now been incorporated into the Monark University's diverse purview.
