Established by the Government of Jharkhand through Act No. 11 of 2016, in accordance with Section 2(f) of the UGC (University Grants Commission), Government of India, Pragyan International University gained approval from the Governor of Jharkhand and was officially recorded in the Government of Jharkhand Gazette Notification No. 312 of 2016, dated May 16, 2016.
Pragyan International University holds recognition under Section 2(f) of the UGC, Government of India, and is vested with the authority to confer degrees in accordance with Section 22 of the UGC Act, 1956.
