RKDF University in Gandhi Nagar, Bhopal, was established by the Ayushmati Education and Social Society. This endeavor was realized through an act of the Government of Madhya Pradesh and officially recorded in the State Gazette on the 19th of July, 2011. The sprawling university campus spans an impressive 107 acres of land, conveniently located near the Bhopal Airport. The campus boasts a substantial built-up area of 13.184 lakh square feet and meticulously maintained gardens covering 6.31 lakh square feet.
Notably, the University earned approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) under section 2(f) of the 1956 Act. This recognition followed a thorough evaluation by a committee of expert members appointed by the UGC in New Delhi.
Subsequently, with the endorsement of the Statutes and ordinances of the University by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Madhya Pradesh, on the 4th of May, 2012, the academic journey commenced in the year 2012-13. All courses offered by the University have received the necessary approvals from relevant regulatory bodies and the State Government.
