Sri Balaji Society (SBS) was founded in 1998 by the late Professor Dr. (Col) A. Balasubramanian, who also serves as the Founder and Chancellor of Sri Balaji University Pune (SBUP). In 2006, Sri Balaji Society relocated to its current location in Tathwade, Pune. The unwavering dedication and visionary leadership of our founder paved the way for our university status, which we achieved in 2019.
SBUP boasts a sprawling campus that houses four distinct institutes. Today, SBUP offers Post Graduate Management Programs (MBA) through these four management institutions: Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Balaji Institute of Technology & Management (BITM), Balaji Institute of International Business (BIIB), and Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resources Development (BIMHRD).
In addition to these management programs, SBUP provides a range of Undergraduate Programs with various specializations in BBA, BA, and BCA, along with a Postgraduate Program in MCA.
Beyond these four core institutions, SBUP includes a law college known as Balaji Law College (BLC) and two colleges catering to undergraduate and graduate education: Balaji College of Arts Commerce and Science (BCACS) and Balaji Junior College of Arts Commerce and Science (BJCACS). BLC and BCACS are affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University.
