Vishwakarma University, Pune (VU), is a natural evolution of the educational legacy of the Vishwakarma Group of Institutions, with a rich history spanning over 35 years. Established in 2017 as a State Private University under the Maharashtra Government Act, VU holds UGC approval, granting it the authority to design and implement its own curriculum, conduct examinations, and confer degrees.
Vishwakarma University is a proud member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in New Delhi. In recognition of its commitment to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), VU earned a prominent place in the Times Higher Education Global Impact Rankings for 2021, solidifying its position among the top institutions worldwide.
